The National YoungArts Foundation (YoungArts), the non-profit organization that recognizes and nurtures the nation’s most talented young artists in the visual, literary, design and performing arts, is now accepting applications for its 2016 Program. Young artists between the ages of 15 and 18 or in high school grades 10-12 (as of December 1, 2015) across the nation are encouraged to apply in one or more artistic disciplines, including Cinematic Arts, Dance, Design Arts, Jazz, Music, Photography, Theater, Visual Arts, Voice, and Writing (including Spoken Word—a new category this year). YoungArts Winners also have the opportunity to get nominated as U.S. Presidential Scholars in the Arts, as YoungArts is the exclusive nominating agency for this high honor for artistically-talented graduating high school seniors. Applications will be accepted online through October 16, 2015. For more information, visit youngarts.org/apply
